  • 2003

    RCG moves its headquarters for the first time out of Cambridge, MA into a newly developed mixed-use complex in Somerville, MA. The move coincided with a renewed phase of growth in the firm, as its assets under management now included properties in the following Boston area communities: Allston, Brighton, Brookline, Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Lynn, Salem, Waltham, and Winthrop.

  • 2005

    RCG manages the development of a number of large scale new construction projects, including 323 Boylston Street in Brookline, MA. RCG also opens its Salem, MA office, initially at 120 Washington Street in the Peabody Block building.

  • 2007

    RCG opens its Asheville, NC regional office in Brevard and acquires its first North Carolina properties.

  • 2008

    RCG began the renovation and redevelopment of the east campus of the former Davis and Furber Machine Company mill complex in North Andover, MA. RCG subsequently transformed the site into a mixed-use neighborhood hub by adding restaurants, apartments, wellness facilities and office spaces of all sizes to what was once a single-tenant property.

  • 2012

    RCG began more actively renovating properties near to its headquarters in Somerville, MA. A prime example of the work RCG managed around this time was the complete overhaul of the historic main house and carriage barn at 17-19 Aldersey Street. RCG’s preservation and community development efforts were recognized by the City of Somerville Historical Commission with an award in 2013.

  • 2015

    RCG formally opens an outpost in Southern California with a focus on properties in Los Angeles, particularly in the Koreatown and surrounding neighborhoods.

  • 2017

    RCG expanded its North Carolina footprint by establishing an office in Charlotte. RCG’s initial focus was the Dilworth neighborhood.

  • 2018

    RCG opens its fourth geographic satellite office in Denver, focusing on dense urban locations within the metropolitan region. RCG expanded its Southern New England footprint to include Providence, RI with the purchase of its first building on the West Side.

  • 2019

    RCG expands its North Carolina operation to reach the coast, opening an outpost in Wilmington and acquiring its first property, a mixed-use asset on Castle Street.

  • 2020

    RCG expands its Western North Carolina operation in Asheville, expanding its team and moving its headquarters to the Pritchard House on E. Chestnut Street.

  • 2021

    Denver added five new properties to its portfolio of historically unique properties in 2021, bringing the total to eight.
